When replying to a post, please keep quoted material
to a minimum, often a couple of lines are sufficient to get the idea across.
Please do not quote the entire post you are responding

This is often called a signature. Please keep your signatures short---
three or four lines at most.
When replying, and it is a personal message to the author
of the post, PLEASE, respond to their E-Mail address.

Starting Out
When you first start on the list you are set on Moderated
(see Moderated) meaning your mail is checked
to see if the content is appropriate for the list. After a wile you are
moved to Editor where all of your posts to the list are sent directly to
the list and are not moderated.
NERAIL Photo Archive
The NERAIL photo archive is a site where NERAIL members
or any one can post pictures. The photo is posted
right away and you can view other pictures as thumbnail sizes or in a large
full screen size.

This command is sent to the address of: LISTSERV@LISTSERV.AOL.COM
This is the four word command line required to subscribe
to NERAIL.
Use this 4-word command line to change your subscription
options. Here's a brief explanation of the options:

NERAIL SPECIAL Commands
MAIL - You are sent individual postings as they are received
SUBJECTHDR - Full (normal) mail headers with list name in message subject
REPRO - You receive a copy of your own postings
NOACK - No acknowledgment of successfully processed postings

Unsubscribe from NERAIL
UNSUB NERAIL
This is the two-word command line required to unsubscribe
from NERAIL. If you attempt this and receive a message back that you are
not subscribed, contact the owner at gilemery@yahoo.com,
most likely your routing address has changed and you will need to be removed
manually.
Bounced message handling
If your account or site bounces a message back to the
list creating an error message, your address will be automatically removed
from the NERAIL subscription list. If you suddenly find yourself unsubscribed
to NERAIL, that is most likely why---your site acted up. The owner does
try and send out notification to you if you are dropped off the list.
NERAIL is moderated
NERAIL is moderated : First for new members posts to NERAIL
are reviewed are either approved or discarded from going to the list. They
are not edited by the moderator. This is done to keep noise low to the
list.
